Volunteers needed to help fix pickup field

FTSC Hall of Famer Tom Van Wagner has approached the National Parks Service to see if they would provide some dirt if we provide the labor to fix the holes and ruts in our Sunday/Wednesday pickup field in West Potomac Park. The catch is that we need to provide the volunteer labor to make this happen.When? Saturday, June 8 from 8AM to noon. If you have gardening implements we will likely need them too.This is a great chance for us to enhance our relationship with the NPS who issue our permit to play on the fields (and give us the right to keep the field for ourselves if others encroach). And it will help keep us all safe since the current state of the fields is a bit dangerous.If you can help out please contact Tom.
