Turkey Bowl Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who braved the chilly winds and clingy plastic turf on Saturday for our annual pre-Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl soccer extravaganza! About 70 hearty players, referees and spectators took to the field at Arlington's Washington-Lee HS.

Special thanks (in no particular order) to: Jim Ensor and Joao Freitas  for leading the early morning academy session. Ben Keller, Kevin Anderson, Peter Kester and JC Cummings for being our volunteer referees for the day. Craig Williams for putting the squads together. David Vos, Andy Sylvia and Alison Samuels for helping with the field setup and tear down.  And David Vos and Scott Reiter for once again welcoming us into their lovely home for the evening's dinner. The food was fantastic and plentiful. If you weren't there, you missed a great time!
