R.I.P. Bill McGlashen

It is with deep shock and sadness that we note the passing of former FTSC treasurer Bill McGlashen. Bill passed away in Dallas this week following a two week bout of pneumonia. We'll always remember Bill's fiery competitive spirit on the field, but more importantly his smile, wisdom and great friendship off the field. Although his job took him away from DC a few years ago, I recall his surprise appearance at Sunday pickup not that long ago when he was in town on business that was cause for celebration.Funeral services will take place this Saturday, August 9 at 1PM at Unity Church (2929 Unity Dr.) in Houston. The flight attendants union and airline are also planning a memorial service in Arizona later in the month.In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the American Airlines Family Fund.Rest In Peace, friend.
