FTSC's slate of summer activities is shaping up! From league to tournaments to socials, there's something for everyone.
Register Here: Summer of Freedom
Registration for FTSC's premier activity, our annual Tuesday league Summer of Freedom, is currently open for members! 12 teams sponsored by local LGBT establishments, 180 players of all skill levels and gender identities, 6 games and playoffs - always a good time! If you've already paid your annual dues, you should have received an e-mail with a registration link and a discount code. If you're not a dues-paying member, you won't have long to wait - registration for the public goes live this coming Saturday, May 13th! Our opening party (where you get your jersey and meet your new teammates) will be June 6th, (details TBA,) and kickoff happens the following week.

Register Here: Rehoboth Beach Classic
FTSC's annual escape to the beach is back, July 28th-30th. Come join us for a weekend full of social events, including a beachside picnic on Sunday - and, of course, our tournament on Saturday! Like with Summer of Freedom, players will be sorted onto teams as evenly as possible to make the tournament as competitive and fun for everyone as we can. This year, we also have two rental houses for the weekend as a lodging option for people at $300/person for the weekend - email us to reserve your spot.

Our newest FTSC league, Sassy 7s, is back for another season and currently taking player registration. Like last year, summer will be slightly scaled back versus spring, with space for 60 players on 5 teams. We are looking to continue our weekly open training/scrimmage sessions as well, TBD - they are open to all, whether you're registered for the league or not! And if you're looking forward to Summer of Freedom, especially if you haven't joined before, feel free to come to some of our remaining spring training/scrimmage sessions to get a taste of what one of our draft leagues feels like - there are still three more weeks in spring season that you can come to!
Lastly, as a special Sassy 7s event - join us for Drag Bingo at the Capitol Cider House on May 17! (Third Wednesday of this month.) Hosted by Sassy 7s' very own Emerald Star, you know it is going to be a good time. Conveniently located off the Petworth Metro Stop, you have NO EXCUSES to miss~ ;3
Spirit Pride Night
The Washington Spirit will celebrate Pride month on June 3rd against Racing Louisville at Audi Field. Our special event ticket purchases should be going live soon, so watch our site and social media for that! Like last year, we'll have access to the Heineken Rooftop lounge, and we might get a food or drink deal as well, TBD - either way, you won't want to miss it!

DC United's annual Pride celebration will be August 3rd against last year's Eastern Conference champions, the Philadelphia Union. Any large group purchases will get a bonus $20 food voucher, with group leaders also getting special event giveaways. There will also be a post-game party at Dacha Navy Yard! Another great time you won't want to miss.
Annual Membership Picnic
The FTSC board is in the process of finalizing details on this year's annual member appreciation picnic; we are eyeing a later date than usual this year, likely in September. Watch this space for more details when they're available!
