Weekend report, 4/26/21

This immediate past weekend was actually a bit of a break for our active FTSC teams, as the Rainbow Unicorns had a scheduled bye week and field issues prevented any games in the women's league, including The Feds vs Lady Luck, from being played. Both teams were in action the previous weekend, though, with great results!

The Rainbow Unicorns notched their second win of the season a week ago, 2-1 against Del Portero, bringing them into a three-way tie on six points in the middle of the DC Premier League table. If all goes well with the fields, the Unicorns will play two more games over the next three weeks.

The Feds posted another 3-0 shutout back on the 17th, this time against the Spice Girls. (No, not the singers, but that would be so fun to see, wouldn't it? The team names in this league are just 100%.) With the win, The Feds continued their hold on pole position in the league, and will hopefully eventually get to play their final league match against Lady Luck before a one-off final between the top two teams in the league (currently The Feds and second-place Mudslingers. These names, right?)
